- What is The Essential Solution?
The Essential Solution is a marketing system, designed to integrate fundamental marketing strategies to work in harmony, bringing a steady stream of new business to your estate planning or elder law firm. The Essentials include an elegant, fully-optimized website, an integrated blog (and a steady stream of content to put it to work!), social media marketing, an e-newsletter and a print newsletter for mailing. Once these Essential components are in place and working properly for your law firm, you not only begin to generate qualified leads, but you have a real marketing machine working for you to promote workshops, target select markets, and build referral relationships.
- What are some of the benefits of becoming an Essentials client?
One of the most important benefits of becoming an Essentials client is that, rather than purchasing a marketing tool – such as a website – you are actually hiring a marketing team. You will have your own personal Success Coach, backed by a staff of designers and marketing strategists working for you. You’re not “out there” alone, to sink or swim. You have a true marketing partner, and your success is our success!
- Will IMS design just a website for me, if that is all I want?
Yes, we do still offer stand-alone marketing services for those who want to take a build-it-yourself approach. However, remember that a website – even an optimized website – is not a marketing system. There are plenty of websites holding Page One positions on Google that never drive a single new client into the law firms they represent.
- Why is it so important to have a marketing system?
Law firm marketing is a complex field. You are asking prospective clients to make complex buying decisions. You have to first attract their attention, cutting through an increasingly cluttered marketplace. But attracting attention is not enough. You must then build the kinds of relationships that inspire trust, and ultimately bring your prospective client to a level of comfort sufficient for them to engage your services … and eventually recommend your services to others. This type of complex marketing requires a systematic approach, because if the process breaks down at any number of critical junctures, your marketing efforts fail.
- Will IMS optimize the website I currently have?
No. We used to offer “fix-it” services for those who already have websites, but we have learned that “fixing” someone else’s design and coding mistakes is more difficult and time-consuming than simply starting off right. If your website looks nice, but isn’t working for you, then the best solution is to hire our team to create a new website for you. We can incorporate the design elements you like about your current site, hopefully improve upon them, and then build the site properly from the ground up.
- Will IMS do custom design work, such as advertising or brochures, for me if I am not an Essentials client?
No. Our Essentials clients are so important to us, that we devote our full attention to their success. Unfortunately, the time required for us to get “up to speed” with a new client, to the level that we can capably produce custom work, is too great for one-shot projects. When we work with our Essentials clients, we know they have a solid foundation of optimized marketing tools, strategies and systems in place that we can use – without having to first create or fix them. Custom work for these clients flows easily, quickly, and in a cost-effective manner.
- Do you still sell newsletters?
Yes, of course! We started out as primarily a “newsletter” company, and printed newsletters remain one of our core products. You may purchase newsletters as part of your Essential Solution, or you may purchase them as a stand-alone product, with a minimum quantity of 100. Your newsletter is fully customized with your branding, you can choose your articles or even write your own.
